Higher Perspective of Eagles

I love bald eagles. There is something majestic and wise about seeing an eagle soaring in the skies. The past two weeks I’ve had the most incredible eagle sightings!

The first sighting was in my driveway leaving for a meeting, and an eagle flew above me. The next day, I was on my way to Oklahoma for a business trip and saw an eagle flying by me along the highway. On the way back home from OK a week later, I saw both an eagle and a hawk flying together beside the highway.

The most amazing one of all was the next day, last Friday. It was my first day back home from the biz trip, and I was on my way to a meeting. I was driving along a side road and “happened” to look up as I drove underneath this tree with low hanging branches. Sitting right there in the middle of it was a bald eagle! But not just the eagle. It was surrounded by a flock of crows! Crows are another bird that I absolutely love. I have never seen an eagle and crows together before. I was driving, but in that moment, time seemed to suspend, and the eagle was so close that I could see all of its features. Amazing!

Eagles are messengers from a shamanism perspective. They mean higher perspective, the mental plane, intuition / sight, manifestation and so much more. Eagles to me are a sign that I’m on my right path. It is a sign of following my higher guidance. As a Scorpio girl, they are the highest manifestation of the energies of the Scorpio sun sign in astrology.

I consider eagles, hawks and crows to be an animal spirit allies. Each has their own “medicine” from a shamanic perspective.  A few questions to ask yourself… Are you listening to your intuition? What perspective do you need? Are you looking at things from the big picture? Do you need to get some distance and gain perspective? Or are you stuck in the middle of the “stuff” and not seeing the big picture? Are you listening to your higher calling? All of these things can help in biz decisions and of course life in general.

Research the animal and its characteristics for insight into its messages when they show up for you, especially in unusual ways. Notice what specific animals mean to you when they show up over time.

To me there is no better sign of great things happening in my life and biz than seeing one bald eagle! And four in such a short time frame AND with other birds too!? AMAZING! Happy winter everyone!
