Campaign Background

Sheri has extensive experience woven throughout her career as a political affairs professional on local, state and federal candidate and ballot issue campaigns, often integrated with her public policy / government affairs efforts, such as during her time as a lobbyist at Pelopidas. State and federal level campaigns are exciting and a world where “all hands on deck” takes on new meaning.

Whether it was heading up operations and scheduling while providing event support for the John Brunner for U.S. Senate campaign (R-MO). Or whether it was working closely with the state and political directors on the John McCain Presidential Campaign as field director in the Missouri headquarters office, where she played a key role on large campaign events / rallies. Sheri is “all in” for the mission - even cleaning the bathroom in the presidential campaign office before events! (The Missouri presidential campaign was successful, winning by approximately 3,600 votes, which was the first time since 1956 that Missouri went against the national vote.)

Sheri’s passion for a great campaign mission is no surprise as she has been actively involved in the political process from a young age. She was a volunteer in her municipality managing non-partisan campaigns for over a decade, while running candidate campaigns and ballot issues at the HBA, where she built its political affairs program from the ground up and managed it for 18 years.

Even earlier were her studies during her undergraduate work at The American University while also interning for the Honorable U.S. Senator Christopher “Kit” S. Bond (R-MO), and after college, the RNC’s Campaign Management College.
